Volunteer in Thailand
Take our 140 hour TEFL course and volunteer teaching English with Volunteer Inn at Wat Wong Khon in SingBuri and get a $30 discount off your tuition and we also donate US$40 to the program. You get the added bonus of being able to do your TEFL teaching practicum on site at the temple school.
There are some costs to volunteer with this program and cover your room and board while there. Volunteering can not be free at the temple as any money they would spend on your food and care would take money away from programs for the children. Your fees also help support the program. Those fees are paid directly to the temple program and do not go through TEFL Educator/ TEFL Boot Camp.
Accommodations include Thai family homes (which are very clean - it is a cultural thing!) with fans and beds in a shared home. There are also guest house rooms with air-conditioning, with raised bed, internet access, TV, private shared kitchen and washrooms for volunteers only.
Both accommodations include 2 daily meals plus lunch on the days you volunteer, water, transportation to volunteer site, access to bicycles, service and administration for the projects.
Your costs will vary depending on if you volunteering alone or with a friend or two. Check with us as currency fluctuations tend to change the fees up and down.
