What our Graduates say about TEFL Boot CampThese are just a sampling of comments from our graduates. From a graduate teaching in Korea: If I had something bad to say, I would say it. TEFL Boot Camp is 100% genuine, and Ted is extremely nice and helpful. Everything was top-notch. The course materials were excellent and will continue to help me in the future. – Josh Mercer
From a graduate currently teaching in Africa: . . . the quality of course contents are excellent and decent, the service was friendly, fast and competent, the business conduct entirely correct, ethical, and fair. – From a review of TEFL Boot Camp at ESL Teachers Board. From a graduate teaching in Korea: My main concern was to find an accredited program that offered the teacher evaluation component which is highly valuable but is rarely offered through on-line learning. I like the fact that the course is well written. This made it easy to follow and complete each lesson step by step. I recommend TEFL Boot Camp because of the efficient quality program, the rapid e-mail communication/feedback between the learner and TEFL Boot; and the affordable price. – Cassondra Humphry
From a graduate currently in Japan: My only concern was having the time to do the course. I work seven days a week exporting and honestly had to push for time. Honestly, it was fun and i would definitely recommend TEFL Boot camp. No hidden secrets and straight to the point. Excellent quality. The course was thorough and the Tutors feedback/help was very quick. I honestly felt comfortable with this company and it’s staff. – Neville Greening . From a recent graduate: [The course] was much more material than I thought . . . It was a good value with prompt, polite service and I learned alot more than I had expected. – David Douglas . From a graduate heading to China: What I liked most about the TEFL boot camp was . . . how in-depth the material actually is and that I have books that will continuously help me in my teaching journey. My tutor was also a big help with answering in a timely fashion! – Brandice Clinton . From a recent graduate: I was a little concerned the course might be too difficult, but it wasn’t at all, and I am glad I took the course . . . I liked the many examples in the e-books, I also like the search for jobs is very easy and free, you don’t even have to take the course to see TEFL jobs you can apply for. Other TEFL online sites you have to pay to see the job listings first. Also I enjoyed Ted telling me what parts I needed to work on after I passed the exam, I thought I would get an e-mail just saying either I passed or not passed. It shows you actually looked at my work and took it into consideration. – Aazim Moore
From a recent graduate: The depth of insight of the comments were more than I expected . . . The material is covered in depth. I could see no reason to spend the money most places were looking for to get an entry-level certification. After taking the course, I still don’t. – Greg Diehl
From a recent graduate: I was concerned about the quality of the education, because the course was so cheap. [But] I was surprised by the amount of materials and information I was given, I had originally thought I could breeze through it all but I was wrong. The course was very challenging and I truly feel I got my money’s worth and learned a new skill. It was a good education. Ive never done one of the other courses (the ones that cost several thousand dollars) but I have a feeling the quality of education of TEFL Bootcamp was just as good. – Candace Edgar
From an experienced teacher in the Middle East: At first, I thought the modules were very difficult . . . But when I started reading the modules and started my lessons, it was really very interesting to me. The directions were very clear and the activities were very emphatic. – Arturo Palaming
From a hospitality industry professional:
Just wanted to let you know that I’m completely floored by all of your resources . . . Enough information to keep me busy and set for the next 50 years! – Philippe Kelly
From an experienced teacher: I was a bit unsure of the value of the online course . . . Would it be what I thought it would be as a teacher, it concerned me that there would not be enough meat in it to warrant the $ and effort. I am happy to say that it is a very good course. It really helped me to brush up and improve my grammar. – LBH
From an experienced teacher now teaching in China: It is not an easy, whip through it course . . . I would recommend TEFL Boot Camp. If someone is serious about improving their English skills, and is interested in teaching ESL/EFL it will give them a good starting spot. It is not an easy, whip through it course, but an in depth basic education course. If one does it right and Reads / Studies and Thinks about all the provided material it can be of great value to the individual. – L. Hayes
From another teacher now in China: I know that I could have probably muddled through on my own . . . Thank you for your e-book “How to Teach English Abroad” I followed your week by week instructions and methods and the whole experience of finding and obtaining a teaching position in Zhengzhou [China] was completed very smoothly. I know that I could have probably muddled through on my own but your advice was so clear and concise, that I just couldn’t go wrong. Thank you very much! Best wishes, – M G Birch |
