Most people complete this course in two to four weeks. In theory, 60 hours is the amount of study and work time the course takes. If you are efficient and disciplined, you can probably finish it more quickly. Experienced teachers often do it in a few days.
Family and work responsibilities also affect how quickly you can complete the course.
The 60-hour course is the foundation of the 120-hour course. It is, in fact, the first half of that course. The 120-hour course adds three modules for Business English, Teaching Standardized Examinations (TOEFL, IELTS, TOEIC and more) and Hospitality English.
If you pay through PayPal, you can start almost immediately. An automated email with a link to your resource page is sent you within minutes after you pay. If you do not receive it, be sure to check your SPAM folder as email with links are sometimes assumed to be SPAM, especially by the Yahoo spam filter.
Certificates are usually printed within three business days after you complete your course. As soon as it is printed a scan of it is made and emailed to you. The hard copy is usually placed in the mail to you within a further 3-5 business days. How quickly it reaches you depends on where you are. For the USA you will usually receive the certificate within 1-2 weeks after it is mailed. International delivery usually takes about 3-4 weeks after it is mailed.
Most people don't have any trouble at all as the examination is an "open book" exam and you may even use it as a study guide. For the lesson plan project we give you three good examples to review, so you have a good idea of what we are looking for.
All that said, if there is an issue with your work, we simple tell you what it is, tell you how to fix or where to find the solution and ask you to resubmit that part of your work. Our goal is your success and we will do our best to support you in learning and understanding the material for your course.
Absolutely! We are proud to say our certificates have never been refused - anywhere. And if you add the free teaching practicum to them, employers will be even more interested in you.
Be aware that some employers will require a certificate that is a minimum of 100 hours. If that is the case, consider taking the 120 hour course.
See the footer of every page on this website to see the various organizations that we are proud to be members of.
