The internships, usually in the Qingdao area, provide the following:
- Pick you up at the airport
- Welcome lunch (or dinner)

Internship Stipend: 7000-8500 RMB per month - The stipend is as good or even better than some college jobs- and once you complete the internship you should be able to land a position with much better wages.
This program accepts only native speakers from the USA, UK, Canada, Australia and New Zealand.

You must either have a
TEFL certificate or be enrolled in a certification program for final acceptance into the program.

Local schools usually require that interns be between the ages of 18 and 59 and it can be difficult to place people on the higher end of that age range.
Where Will I Teach?
You will work for the internship provider program and be placed at local schools which include Aston English, Web International, Shandong Foreign Trade College, Galaxy International and many more.
Teaching hours are usually about 25 per week with up to 15 hours of office time. Working days and hours for private and public schools are generally Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm.
With language schools you may be required to work evenings and weekends and have 2 days off during the week.
Schools can sometimes expect you to be quite flexible and a relaxed attitude about that will help you succeed.

Note: Your passport will need at least nine months before expiration or China will require renewal before issuing a visa.
In addition, a short 1-2 minute phone video introducing yourself is highly favored by schools/employers/sponsors.
Key things they are looking for: Friendliness, an ability to speak clearly, a strong voice and a smile always helps. Speak in a calm and relaxed manner and you will do fine. Introduce yourself, your hobbies and interests, and explain why you would like to teach in China.
